The influence of technology in art appreciation is ever-changing. Starting from May, K11 will present Electronic Vibes, the latest exhibition elaborating electronic art in multi-discipline and combining art with virtual reality to create an exciting and innovating art experience. The exhibition is on view from 18 May to 4 July. All of the exhibits are in different art forms and created by various media, most of which are specially made for the exhibition and interactive. As the first art mall in Hong Kong collaborating with HTC, K11 will present a ground-breaking Art Jamming activity with the latest VR gear HTC VIVE to generate a revolutionary experience of juxtaposing virtual reality and art. During the exhibition period, participants will be invited to experience the HTC VIVE, which include a headset and remote controllers, to create their unique 3D art pieces inside the space of virtual reality. Valéry Grancher, a prestigious multi- disciplinary artist, will conduct a live performance to demonstrate an innovative combination of technology and art creation. A VR Experience Zone, designed by the famous Hong Kong architect Betty Ng, will be located in the K11 Atrium to present an architectural fusion of art and virtual reality.
