Statement:
The pi number is one of the fascinating numbers since Archimède! The concept is to code each digit of this number as a color, from 0 to 9... Or to encode each digit from white to black with a fade of grey from 0 to 9... Then an image is appearing with a specific pattern. As I am exploring our perception of the artistic roles, played out by historical and contemporary artists and their works. Located somewhere between a painting, a print, a digital image and screen, I creates works that strive to transcend what painting is and can become.
